You need more raw advantage, consider ], ], ], ], ]. ![]() Unless you have something heavy like a political fact or fiction. I think singular card advantage cards are bad, things like thoughtcast. Even with the idea of opposition in the deck, there are more efficient tools and daretti is easily answered and draws a lot of hate. Even with a lot of sac fodder available in excess rocks and the wellsprings, 3 mana kill artifact or creature is just a little below par, especially since "sticking around for value" isn't really a thing with him, unless a 1/1 defender a term is somehow valuable. I've tried out Daretti v2 and he's just not good. Some other upgrades I can see easily is ] should be ]. I think the best way to start tuning is to start goldfishing it. I see competitive builds running 35 lands with only the hyperefficient rocks (crypt/vault/sol ring/mox opal/diamond/chrome mox) and I've managed 28 lands with a lot of 2 mana rocks and done well.īut I think you have way too many mana sources with 47 sources. I think you are running too much in terms of ramp/lands. While I was testing my Breya deck I was pretty satsified with the manabase without them, just avoiding even conditional taplands. I have badlands/plateau myself but those are recent pickups. So if you have any thoughts on the fairness of the deck and these archetypes I'd like to hear it too.ĮDIT: I'm an idiot and didn't post the list. I'm already playing stacks and infinite combo anyway. I'd also like people's input on adding ] to this deck. I love to hear criticisms, additions and what you would cut. IN the same vein are ] and ] just crazy draw spells. there is plenty of recursion and it's ability triggers 3(!) times when you cast the commander. The ], ] combo with both ] and ] might be a bit too much in a stacks orriented build, but all the piece do interact with the gameplan on their own. ] can be turned of with ] or just sacced and recurred to avoid it's effect. Especially since they are all 5cmc cards. ], ] and ] are things I auto included and play somewhat with reanimator effects but are probably the first cuts for more artifact interaction. And control the board with thopter tokens and Breya's ability. The goal of the deck is to lock down the board with ] effects and get out under them with mana rocks. I thought I could build a deck around it. When the Command Zone mentioned ] as a possible upgrade for the ] precon in their podcast on her. I recently posted my kynaios and tiro lands deck And thought I'd try to build another one of the new commanders in the hopefully not most obvious way. ![]()
